The Pirongia Trail Run is a community based trail running event with a challenge for all abilities on the Waikato's mightiest peak.

There is no 2026 event. The next event date in 2027 is to be confirmed.

The event has something for everyone. Whether you're out for a stroll with the kids, or you fancy challenging yourself to all the maunga has to offer, there's a course for all abilities.
