The Owai 5 Miler event, organised by Owairaka Athletics will take place at Lovelock Track, Mt Roskill on 12 November 2023.

Steeped in tradition, this is possibly the only remaining 5-Miler distance race in New Zealand. This event is an historic race with roots back to the 1960s.

It's a great course with a unique combination of road and track running. Huge, historic trophies. Cash prizes for the winners. And fun for all on the day.

Choose between a 5 mile or kids' 2.5km distance - all are welcome whatever your fitness level and whether you are a member or not.
