The Otairi Station Race on 3 February 2024 includes MTB and Trail Run events held at this iconic North Island Station near Hunterville.

Distances include; 30km run, 20km run/walk and a 5km hill climb run/walk. All courses are held over stunning hill country farm terrain with a mix of clay roads, gravel tracks and farm tracks.

The 30km is a looped course with total elevation of ~1000m. The 20km loop includes 700m elevation. The 5km hill climb includes 2kms of climb and 3km of descent. 40% is on firm gravel track and 60% farm grass tracks.

This event is a fundraiser for the local Hunterville School.
