The North West Rogaine Series is held annually in winter, with the first event on 17 May 2026 at Riverhead Forest.

This event is a 90 minute foot rogaine. These events are suitable for all levels, from total beginners to experienced rogainers.

Participants travel on foot, navigating by map and compass. Checkpoints may be visited in any order, with checkpoints being allocated differing points. The highest score wins.

The event will be signposted with orange/white orienteering signs from the junction of Old North Road & Ararimu Valley Road.
