The McLeans Forest Run on 5 July 2026 is a winter trail event set in the McLeans Forest Regional Park, Christchurch.

Choose from a Half Marathon, 10km, or 5km and enjoy scenic forest trails that are suitable for all levels.

The single loop courses showcase scenic parts of McLeans Forest not usually accessible to runners. Terrain is a mix of existing established walking tracks, gravel and mixed-use walking/cycling tracks. There is a 1.6km section of grassed track on the Half Marathon and 10km courses.

The event is friendly and well‑supported.
