The Kawerau Gravity Sports 6 Hour Adventure Race is on Saturday, 20 August 2022 with disciplines include navigation, trekking and mountain biking.

The goal is for competitors to use maps and compasses to find their way around a safe, marked course, obtaining as many checkpoints (points) within the six hours.

Mixed, Open Female and Male teams can comprise two or four team members; secondary school teams must have four members and the divisions are Year 9 & 10, and Years 11 to 13.

The course will be kept secret from competitors until the race briefing. Registration and briefing are at the Kawerau Town Hall on Friday evening.
