The third event in the Tuffnell Drainage JD Duathlon Series 2025 is an evening race at Ruapuna Raceway on 15 September 2025.

The event will be a Super Sprint draft legal race. If you only have a TT bike you can still race but you are not allowed on your aero bars.

This event will run directly after the Canterbury Secondary Schools Duathlon.

The JD Duathlons strive to provide a variety of race options for all levels of athletes from the first timer to elite athlete and do so in a professional and safe manner.

There is a great crew of sponsors on board and both John & Dave are athletes themselves so know what makes for a successful event.

Distances/Events

Format: Run + Bike + Run:

Open & Teams: 1.9K + 9.9K + 1.9K
Novice / Junior / Youth: 1K + 6.6K + 1K

Kids 5-9 years: 500m + Bike 1 part lap + 1K
