The second event in the Tuffnell Drainage JD Duathlon Series 2026 is at Orton Bradley Park in Charteris Bay on 13 September 2026.
The Run leg has 2 distances depending on the category entered. The short lap (1.6km) is on the main shingle road within the park. The long lap (4.8km) is initially on a shingle road then on trails with a few steps, roots and likely a little mud in places. The Bike leg is a 16km lap on an out and back on road course. The Kids 5-9 years event is a a run/bike/run within the park.
The JD Duathlons strive to provide a variety of race options for all levels of athletes from the first timer to elite athlete and do so in a professional and safe manner.
There is a great crew of sponsors on board and both John & Dave are athletes themselves so know what makes for a successful event.

Youth: Run 1.6K + Bike 16K + Run 1.6K
Novice / Junior: Run 1.6K + Bike 16K + Run 4.8K
Open & Teams: Run 3.2K + Bike 32-33K + Run 4.8K
Kids 5-9 years: A run/bike/run within the park
Run ~800m + Bike 1.6K lap (5-6 years 1 lap, 7-9 years 2 laps) + Run ~800m
