The Hutt Half Marathon on 20 September 2026 is one of the Hutt Valley’s premier running and walking events, offering a flat and scenic out and back course.

As well as the 21.1km run/walk, there is also a 10km and 5km distance, plus a 'Cool Kids' 1km.

There will be no full Marathon distance in 2026 and the Half Marathon is on a new course that includes an out and back section on the refurbished pathway (Tepua Horo Nuku) to the start of Day’s Bay (the turn around point).

The event is organised by the Hutt Valley Harriers.

Race HQ is the Petone Rugby League Clubrooms. The events start nearby on Marine Parade.
