The Feilding Festival of Running on 7 November 2026 includes the Feilding Marathon, the Roy Lamberston Memorial Half Marathon, plus other fun run events.

First held in 1955, the Feilding Marathon has been held every year since, making it one of the longest runs of any marathon worldwide. The Marathon can be run solo, or in a team of 2 with a switch over at half way.

The Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km are held on out and back routes starting at Timona Park. The Marathon is a 2-lap course.The 5km and 2.5km course is a family and child friendly circuit of Timona Park - all grass.

All proceeds from the event go back into supporting grass-roots club activities including youth development, the upgrade of facilities and equipment. Most of the volunteers you see on course on the day are either Feilding Moa Harrier club members or from Feilding Athletic Club.
