The Canterbury Mile & 5K Road Championships on 14 April 2024 is based at Landfill Avenue in Bottle Lake Forest Park.

Both distances are run a fast, flat road course on Landfill Ave within the Bottle Lake reserve. These events present an enticing opportunity for all Canterbury runners to race in a top-quality competition and chase quick times.

Athletes wanting to compete in the Canterbury 5km Road Championships, can do so if they are 14 years and over. Those wanting to enter the mile must be 6 years of age or older.

Keen Athletes can do both distances at no extra cost.

Runners looking to win a Canterbury Championship medal must be registered with an Athletics Canterbury club and enter via this club.
