Hiking training for trail runners

This week I'm going to highlight one of the features of the website when you sign up as a premium member: location based searching.
You can search for events by region (e.g. Northland, Canterbury, Otago) but this gives you a pretty broad geographical area.
Premium members can use location based searching to search within a specific number of kilometers of an address or location. Open up the search form, type in a km distance and then start typing a location into the location box to do an auto-complete location search. This could be your actual address, your suburb or some other nearby location.
This is a great timesaver and I use it all the time myself to find events near to me.
To find out what's been recently updated, check the recent updates page regularly. I include in this newsletter a list of the more important updates (see below) such as date changes, cancellations, or late additions to the calendar. And check out the full calendar of upcoming events.
- The Fullers Greatsights Bay of Islands BEAST was originally scheduled for 6 July but was postponed due to a landowner change; the new date is 24 August and entries are open
Have a great running week!
