The current edition of this event is on 23 March 2019.

Are you ready to challenge yourself and challenge poverty? Walk 100km in 36 hours in teams of four in Whakatane. Teams walk together: this is not a relay.

After 10 years in Taupo, the Oxfam Trailwalker moved to the Bay of Plenty in 2017 and added a 50km event, with the walk starting from Whakatane.

Oxfam Trailwalker NZ is an annual fundraising event organised and promoted by Oxfam New Zealand. Funds raised from the event will support Oxfam New Zealand's humanitarian, development and advocacy work to support positive and lasting change for communities living in poverty.
