The New Zealand Masters Games is the largest multi-sport event in New Zealand, with the 7.5km hill run on Thursday, 6 February 2020.

This is a 7.5km hill run of moderate difficulty that provides spectacular views of Dunedin. Most runners will finish within an hour. No walkers please. The run starts at Rockside Road, proceeds through Ross Creek track, up the Pineapple Track and over Flagstaff, descending to finish at the Bull Ring on Whare Flat Road.

Held annually, the New Zealand Masters Games alternates between Whanganui and Dunedin. The 31st New Zealand Masters Games will be held in Dunedin from 1 to 9 February 2020.
