New Zealand Masters Games 2018: Stadium Stair Challenge

The New Zealand Masters Games is the largest multi-sport event in New Zealand, with the Triple Stadium Stair Challenge on Tuesday, 6 February 2018.

This event takes in three sets of stairs at Caledonian, University Oval and Forsyth Barr Stadium. You may run up the stairs but MUST walk down stairs. The first competitors in each age
category to finish will win the medal.

Held annually, the New Zealand Masters Games alternates between Wanganui and Dunedin, with the 29th edition held in Dunedin from 3 to 11 February 2018.

The course is 1 lap of Caledonian track (800m), up and down all sets of stairs, run to the University Oval (across grass), 3 sets of stairs, run to the Forsyth Barr Stadium (across grass and public footpath), and complete stairs to finish. A water station will be set up upon your entrance to Forsyth Barr Stadium.
