The New Zealand Masters Games is the largest multi-sport event in New Zealand, with the pool swimming events from Wednesday, 7 February to Thursday, 8 February 2018.

There is a limit of 6 events per competitor, and the swims are open to all swimmers regardless of ability. There are no finals; places and medals are based on the best times in each age group. Relay entries are taken at the poolside, and you must have competed in an individual event. This is a sanctioned meet under FINA and NZMS rules.

Held annually, the New Zealand Masters Games alternates between Wanganui and Dunedin, with the 29th edition held in Dunedin from 3 to 11 February 2018.
