2020 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship

Taupō, New Zealand will host the very best IRONMAN 70.3 professional athletes over the weekend of November 28-29, 2020, as well as some of the most-committed age-group competitors from all corners of the globe.
Although it will be the first time the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship has been held in New Zealand, Taupō has been home to IRONMAN New Zealand since 1999 and IRONMAN 70.3 Taupō since 2015, where the best of New Zealand’s breath-taking scenery is showcased.
The race itself features a swim in the world’s largest fresh water lake, a bike course through New Zealand’s renowned rural landscape, and a run course which takes in views of the lake front that will be lined with spectator and local support.
Entry is by qualification only.
