The Christchurch Crown is a challenging ocean swim in Lyttelton Harbour on Saturday, 4 March 2017 which weaves in and out of some of Christchurch's most picturesque bays.
The South Island leg of the Ocean Swim Series has been replaced with The Big Tahnua in Nelson from 2018.
If you are looking for a challenge to train for and conquer then look no further - the Christchurch Crown is the perfect opportunity to put yourself outside your comfort zone in a super safe and encouraging environment. All distances start and finish from Corsair Bay. As well as the super long 3.3km swim, this event also has a 1km, a 500m and a 200m kid's swim.
