The Cheviot Hills Run and Ride is a fun run and ride at the Cheviot Hills Reserve in Cheviot, North Canterbury organised by the Cheviot Lions Club.

There is a 6km (1 lap) distance for walkers, 6km run (1 lap) for juniors, and 12km run (2 laps) for open and veteran competitors.

The run course runs through century old oak and eucalyptus trees, to plantations of ash, pine and natives. The first section of the course comprises undulating 4wd and single track weaving through the Reserve and adjacent to the Jed River, then out the drive, along the foot path around the out side of the reserve then re-entering the reserve to the cricket pavilion.

All events are at the Cheviot Hills Reserve. The entrance to Cheviot Hills Reserve is off State Highway One at the south end of Cheviot, or 1.2km along Gore Bay Road from the centre of Cheviot.
