The Cheviot Hills Challenge is a trail run & walk on Sunday, 14 September 2014 at the Cheviot Hills Reserve in North Canterbury organised by the Cheviot Lions Club.

The run course goes through century old oak and eucalyptus trees, to plantations of ash, pine and natives. The first section of the course comprises undulating 4wd and single track weaving through the Reserve and adjacent to the Jed River, then out the drive, along the foot path around the out side of the reserve then re-entering the reserve to the cricket pavilion.

Location map

All events are at the Cheviot Hills Reserve. The entrance to Cheviot Hills Reserve is off State Highway One at the south end of Cheviot, or 1.2km along Gore Bay Road from the centre of Cheviot.
