The Cape Brett Challenge is a 42.2km off road marathon out and back to the lighthouse, along with the the 17km Whangamumu loop and 13km Kauri Ridge loop.

Please note: this event is not going ahead in 2016.

This event is held in Rawhiti situated in one of New Zealand's most picturesque locations in the Bay of Islands - only 30 minutes drive from Russell. The courses offer stunning off-road running and walking enjoying spectacular seascapes, masses of 400 year old Kauri trees, native wildlife whilst offering steep and challenging terrain.
