Relay For Life in Dunedin starting on Saturday, 30 March 2019 is a fun fundraising event for the Cancer Society that brings communities together to celebrate and remember the lives of those who have been affected by cancer.
Teams camp out and take turns walking/running around a track for 12 hours while enjoying a festival-like atmosphere of live music, entertainment and activities, all with a fantastic community spirit.
Not only is it an amazing event, Relay for Life is also a vital fundraiser for the Cancer Society’s work in Otago and Southland. This work includes providing support services to people in your community who have been affected by cancer, promoting health messages to reduce the number of people who get cancer, and funding vital research about the prevention and treatment of cancer.
