There are up to six 300x250px advertising slots on each website in the right column or inline in the content depending on screen / device size.
Website advertising costs
It's NZ$325* per month to advertise on the New Zealand website, currently getting around 200,000 impressions per month. The minimum booking is one month. There is no advertising space left in the forseeable future, but you can be added to the waitlist in case of any cancellations.
And it's AU$110* per week to advertise on the Australian website, currently getting around 300,000 impressions per month. Bookings are in 7 day blocks (Monday to Sunday) and the minimum booking is 1 week. We currrently have ad space available as follows:
- 16 to 29 December
- 2 March to 12 April
- From 20 April
While your ad is running, the event being advertised will also appear in the "featured events" listed on the website homepage.
Prepayment is required at the time of booking to secure placement, by either direct banking to our ASB Bank account in NZ or Commonwealth Bank account in Australia, or by VISA or MasterCard.

Weekly newsletter advertising costs
We offer space at the top of each weekly email newsletter; this takes the form of a banner image and, a paragraph of text and links to your website. This is then also posted as a separate post to Facebook & Twitter later in the week. The cost is currently NZ$95 for the New Zealand newsletter and AU$140 for the Australian newsletter. Refer to the media kit below for further details about how this works.
Event entry discounts
We will also promote events via our weekly email, on Facebook & Twitter and approximately 100 automated emails that are sent each day if you supply a discount code for your event (e.g. 10% or $10 off). Discount codes are limited on the website to logged in premium members only. Again, refer to the media kit below for further details.
