Walk For Hope in Wellington on Saturday September 29th 2012 is a 5K and 10K sponsored fundraising walk for A Girl Called Hope. It starts and finishes at Frank Kitts Park on Jervois Quay.
A Girl Called Hope is a non-profit organisation working with young women who face life-controlling issues, such as abuse, addictions, depression, eating disorders, self harm and unplanned pregnancy. They exist to provide a future full of hope and potential to every young woman - to show them that they are valued, purposed and above all have a reason to live.
This event starts and finishes at Frank Kitts Park, on Jervois Quay, right in the city centre on the Wellington waterfront as shown in the map below.
