The Big Easy Mountain Marathon on Saturday January 26th 2013 is the highest mountain marathon in New Zealand, starting at Snow Farm and climbing Mt Pisa then following farm tracks and river trails to the Albert Town Tavern where the event finishes.
A bus takes you from registration at Albert Town Tavern or from Pembroke Park to the start. There are also 48K and 18K mountain bike events, which are not covered here on this running calendar website.
