The Mizuno Half Marathon in Taupo starts on Redoubt Street adjacent to the Great Lake Centre and finishes on the Tongariro North Domain beside the Great Lake Centre. There is a half marathon only and no other distances.

The course follows a flat, scenic out-and-back loop course on the edge of Lake Taupo. Surfaces include highway, footpath, formed track and some firm farmland. The course will be marshalled and signed. All entrants must complete the same course. This course is unsuitable for wheelchair users.
