The Run to Remember is a 12km fun run and walk to honour those that lost their lives during the February 2011 earthquake in Christchurch.
The run starts at Victoria Park and heads up Harry Ell Track, turning left onto Summit Road. You run along Summit Road before turning down Rapaki Track and finishing at Hansen Park. It's a mix of both trail and road and a good challenge for runners and walkers of all levels.
All profits are donated to Canterbury Earthquake Children's Trust who are helping children that lost a parent in the Canterbury earthquake.
This event starts at 1) Victoria Park and finishes at 2) Hansen Park in Christchurch as shown in the map below.
