Lower Hutt parkrun

Parkrun Lower Hutt

The Lower Hutt parkrun is a free weekly 5K on Saturday mornings at 8:00am, on an out and back course along the stop bank on the eastern side of the Hutt River. Note that although this event is free, you must register online in advance.

Starting just south of the southern end of the riverside carpark, runners travel along the sealed path under the Ewen bridge and up onto the stopbank. Runners follow the stopbank south, under the Ava Rail bridge and down to a grass covered turnaround area just north of the Seaview bridge. A quick clockwise loop of the grass area and then runners head back north to finish just south of where they started 5km earlier.

There is also a parkrun on Christmas Day 2012 at 9:30am.
