The Air Safaris Mt Edward 23K Mountain Run and Lake Tekapo Forest Run (5K, 10K, 15K) start and end at the Lake Tekapo Regional Park on the Eastern side of Lake Tekapo along Lilybank Road.
The 5K/10K/15K is on an established 5K track within the Regional Park, on a mix of surfaces and undulating; 5K runners run 1 lap, 10K runners run 2 laps and 15K runners run 3 laps.
The 23K mountain run starts on established trails in the park, then heads to the edge of the park and onto farm 4WD tracks, from these onto a section of off-road and rough underfoot terrain and then up Mt Edward.
Please note, this event will not be held in 2013.
The map below shows the approximate location of the start/finish area for both events, on Lilybank Road on the eastern shore of Lake Tekapo.
