The Manawatu Striders Half Marathon is an annual running race in Palmerston North which starts and ends at the Massey University Recreation Centre.
The Half Marathon is a scenic tour of Palmerston North. Run/walk through the campus of Massey University, over the Manawatu River, through the suburb of Hokowhitu, past the Manawatu Golf Course and on past the Centennial Lagoon, along the bridle track of the Esplanade, through the suburb of Riverdale, around the Awapuni racecourse and return to Massey University.
The 10K and 5K courses follow the same course but turn around sooner.
The map below shows the location of the Massey University Recreation Centre which is the start/finish line for all events.
