The Kaikoura Whale Run, formerly known as the Kaikoura Suburban Half Marathon, is an annual run/walk half marathon, 10K and kids 2K. It will be on Saturday September 14th 2013.
Each race follows a loop course which starts and ends at Kaikoura Suburban School. They follow the Kowhai River bank, along the base of Mt Fyffe and finishing with picturesque scenes of Kaikoura. See the official website (link below) for a full course map for each event.
