The Great Naseby Water Race on Saturday August 25th 2012 is an ultramarathon event with mutiple laps around a 10K course. Choose whether to run 50K 80K or 100K or a 60K team effort.
The course is set around a 10K loop - the first half along a gravel road and the second half on a forest track beside the water race that gives the event its name. There is no actual water running.
Because it is dark until 7am and the 100K starts at 6am, all 100km runners must start with a headlight for the first lap and you may need it for later ones. You must have started your last lap by 6pm.
| Distance | Start time(s) |
|---|---|
| 100K - 10 laps | 6:00am (headlight required for the first lap) |
| 80K - 8 laps | 9:00am |
| 60K Team Event - 2 x 30K each | 10:00am |
| 50K - 5 Laps | 10:00am |
The map below shows the location of the start/finish line for all events, and where you will pass by multiple times :)
