The Cheviot Hills Challenge is a running race at the Cheviot Hills Reserve in Cheviot, North Canterbury organised by the Cheviot Lions Club.
The 7km course runs through century old oak and eucalyptus trees, to plantations of ash, pine and natives. The first section of the course comprises undulating 4wd and single track weaving through the Reserve and adjacent to the Jed River, then out the drive, along the foot path around the out side of the reserve then re-entering the reserve to the cricket pavilion.
Walk 1 lap (7m) or run 1, 2 or 3 laps (7km, 14km, 21km).
