There are a few people currently doing some very long runs and walks around New Zealand to raise money for charity. This blog post looks at some of these people briefly and then you can click through to their websites for more details.

Ken Lusby's Walk NZ to Cure Kids

Ken Lusby is walking the length of New Zealand from Stewart Island to Cape Reinga to raise funds for Cure Kids, the face of the Child Health Research Foundation. He started on August 30th and expects to get to Cape Reinga on November 13th.

Perry Newburn's Great ENZED Charity Run

Perry Newburn is currently doing a circumnavigation of New Zealand on foot. He started on August 31st and expects to take around 71 days to complete the approximately 5000km journey. He's raising money for the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.

Victoria Taylor's Run NZ for Child Cancer

Victoria Taylor is currently running from Cape Reinga to Bluff so raise awareness and funds for the Child Cancer Foundation. She started on September 1st and is currently south of Taupo.

Kim Allan's 500km/0hrs sleep for The CatWalk Spinal Cord Injury Trust

Kim Allan will be attempting to break the world record for continuously running for 500km in the Auckland Domain starting on November 22nd. She is raising money for The CatWalk Spinal Cord Injury Trust.
