The Big O Trail Run is an annual off road trail run at Lake Okataina in Rotorua; 2013 sees 10km, 21km and 35km events at a new event centre at the Lakes Ranch.
In 2013 there will be a full loop around Lake Okataina (using a quick boat ride to complete the loop between the Eastern and Western Walkways), and a whole bunch of private farmland with amazing views of the East Coast, Rotorua City and the lake!
Please note the event originally scheduled for May 25th has had to be postponed. See the event website (linked to below) for more details. We will update this listing as more information comes to hand. At this stage, the event should take place in August or September.
The event center is at the Lakes Ranch at 79 Lake Rotokawau Road, just off SH30 opposite Hells Gate as shown in the map below.
