The Abel Tasman Coastal Classic is a 36K off road trail run in the Abel Tasman National Park which was first run in 1994.
The 20th running of the event on Saturday September 28th 2013 will see the event follow the original course (although in reverse from when it was first run) from Totaranui to Marahau.
The course is a point to point run from Totaranui to Marahau on The Abel Tasman Coast Track and is approximately 36km. Race day starts with boarding a Sea Shuttle after registering at the Marahua Outdoor Education Centre.
The map below shows the location of the Marahau Outdoor Education Centre, which is the base for this event. Registration and transportation to the boats is from here, as well as lunch and the prize giving dinner.
